Our Approach
Customization:
Our approach and solutions are tailored to meet the needs of your organization. We start by learning about your business: you talk, and we listen. Once we understand your specific needs and challenges, we'll design a customized program to help you meet your objectives.
As part of the program we develop for you, we provide valuable advice on the relationship issues that seem to be facing your organization. You'll also see that we don't just give advice – we live by the principles every day.
We use a variety of methods to appeal to the different ways in which people learn. Our workshops are interactive, informative and fun. Participants have told us that our workshops are "among the best we've ever attended" and "the experience was life changing". But don't take our word for it; check out our testimonials.
Practical:
Whether the issue facing your organization is a tricky negotiation or an inter-team conflict, our solution will include practical advice and tools that you can start using right away. We'll provide you with step-by-step instructions to help you integrate our ideas into your organization.
Ongoing Support:
Our process doesn't end once the workshop is over. Our goal is to help people change their behaviour, and we know that follow-up and support will help make the transition easier. We'll give your team tips, how-to's and reminders that will keep what they learned alive. Plus, we're always available to answer questions.
Theory Meets Real World Experience:
Our approach is based on a time-tested theoretical framework that was developed by a team of our colleagues at Harvard Negotiation Project (HNP) in 1979. Most people view negotiations and conflict as battles to be won or lost; the HNP views the same events as puzzles that different parties must work together to solve. The techniques and skills we teach are the industry gold standard; they've produced results in organizations around the world.
Our Work is Not For Everyone:
We want you to see us as a part of your team. Change takes time, commitment, effort, and resources. But it also means that you need to have a genuine desire to embrace new possibilities, to operate in new and exciting ways. We love working with organizations that see us as partners who will help their people work together more effectively.
