Amy Elizabeth Fox
Amy Elizabeth Fox is a trainer, executive coach and organizational strategist with experience consulting for corporations and non-profit organizations. Over the past fifteen years, she has spoken at numerous conferences and led workshops for emerging leaders across the United States. Her consulting and training work have focused on issues of diversity, communications, team building, and strategic planning.
As a trainer, Ms. Fox builds on the work of the Harvard Negotiation Project, which pioneered the development and application to the corporate context of theories and tools for negotiating, managing conflict and building effective working relationships.
Recent clients include: American Management Systems, Standard and Poors, Oppenheimer Funds, Geller and Company, IBM, Compaq, Conoco, Capitol One, Bank of Montreal, Fleet Bank, Target, Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceutical, Genentech Inc., Citrix Systems, The Mathworks, Proctor and Gamble, The New York Times Company, Xilinx Inc., the Rockefeller Foundation, Cox Communications, CIT, Lexmark, Arbitron Communications, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Sanofi Aventis. She recently taught courses for Linkage Inc., the Institute for Management Studies (USA), Center for Creative Leadership, and the Canadian Centre for Management Development.
Ms. Fox also serves as the Program Director of the Rockwood Fund’s Leadership Training Program for Public Interest Professionals, a national effort to bring leading technologies in organizational development to the public interest sector. She is certified as an executive coach in the area of Emotional Intelligence by Hay/McBer and Associates, working closely with senior managers to enhance their leadership skills.
Prior to her current work, Ms. Fox was the Director of Training and Organizational Development for Wellspace Inc., a health care start-up. Previously, she served as the Associate Director of the National Religious Partnership for the Environment, an educational initiative headed by Vice President Al Gore and Carl Sagan. She was Special Assistant to the Dean of Education, City College and Education Director of an in-patient alcohol rehabilitation hospital.
Ms. Fox is a psychotherapist who is affiliated with the Public Conversations Project and Cambridge Health Associates. She also serves as a Literary Scout for David Black Agency in New York City. She received her B.A. from Wesleyan University and her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Lesley College.
